Wall Crew Member

Working with a production team or individually, the Wall Crew Member is responsible for the interior wall finishes of modular construction projects.

Essential Functions

• Reads blueprints and other specifications to determine the openings sizes and placement in cold air returns, windows, pocket doors and regular doors
• Identifies and gathers tools and materials needed using specifications of the work order
• Maintains inventory, tools and supplies
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area
• Works in a safe manner and follows all safety policies including wearing appropriate PPE
• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The performance of this position requires occasional exposure to the manufacturing areas where the use of safety glasses is required, and the use of hearing protection may be required.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The position lifts heavy objects up to 80 pounds, walks and stands for long periods of time and performs physical labor in a climate-controlled environment. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue; and effectively jumps, sprints or throws objects. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination. The position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs. The employee must have excellent stamina.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 7 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 30 p.m. Evening work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Travel is primarily not expected in this role, although some out-of-area travel may be expected.

Experience

Education

High school diploma or Equivalent required.

Maintains a valid Driver's License
