Raytheon is the leading provider of Electronic Warfare Systems for Space and Airborne Platforms. This position is for a Principal Systems Engineer who will provide engineering leadership to Systems Engineering Integration & Test teams.

• Problems and issues faced can fluctuate and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem and determine the appropriate resolution.
• Qualifications You Must Have : Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline (preferably Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Physics) with a minimum of 8 years of related work experience.
• Experience in radar threat analysis and EW technique development / analysis.* Experience in verification and validation of system and / or subsystem requirements.
• Experienced presenter preparing and presenting reports and briefings both orally and written.* Experienced with leading peers and team members during test phases.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.

S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.*Qualifications We Prefer : Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (Cameo Enterprise Architecture), specifically using SysML.

• RF experience and knowledge of microwave modules* Experience with Special Test Equipment and Modeling and Simulation.* Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Experience with DevSecOps delivery pipelines and software development principals* Experience with tools such as Matlab / Simulink, DOORS, DNG, Cameo, Jira, and Confluence* Earned Value Management / Cost Account Management experience.
• Experience leading STE development (and prime hardware) test activities.* Experience with security requirements related to government testing.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
