JS Solutions is seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Account Coordinator with a strong background in Army Aviation and government contracting.
This role will be critical in expanding our business footprint, identifying potential partnerships and contracts, managing business relationships, and driving strategic initiatives to support revenue growth.
We are looking for a candidate who not only has the necessary experience but is also eager to learn and grow with our team.
As a key player in our business development efforts, you will work closely with our team to support clients, represent JS Solutions at industry functions, and develop innovative solutions that align with client needs.
Your deep understanding of the Army Aviation community and government procurement processes will be essential in navigating the complexities of the industry and driving our business forward.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, pursue, and manage new business opportunities within the Army Aviation sector and government contracting space
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, DoD officials, and industry partners
- Lead the proposal development process, including the creation of compelling proposals, presentations, and bid strategies
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet client needs and align with company capabilities
- Manage and grow existing accounts by understanding client requirements, providing exceptional service, and identifying opportunities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote JS Solutions’ capabilities
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and forecasted revenue
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the Army Aviation and / or government contracting sectors
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic business development plans
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
- Strong understanding of the Army Aviation community, including key programs, procurement processes, and stakeholder dynamics
- Proven track record of securing new business, managing accounts, and achieving sales targets
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support business development activities
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the Army Aviation and / or government contracting sectors
- Experience with contract opportunity programs
