- 13 Weeks ONLY
- 48 Hrs Preferable, 36 Hrs Acceptable
- Post-operative stepdown cardiac and thoracic surgery. Chest tubes, external pacemakers, transcatheter pacemaker wires are common.
- Unassigned charge RN on unit, dedicated APP team for unit.
Job Requirements
- Must Have Skills / Experience : basic CNA skills (blood glucose, bathing / hygiene / oral care); cardiac telemetry (we do not have Tele Techs), Pacemakers / TVPs, Chest Tubes, arterial lines, CPAP / BiPAP; telephone skills
- Preferred Skillset / Experience : LVADs, post-surgical care; safely ambulating patients post-surgery / sternotomy or procedure with lines / drains and tubes.
