This position is a full-time. We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. This role will be focused on performing competitive analysis on a daily basis to help us stay ahead in the rapidly evolving fintech landscape.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for understanding market trends and competitor strategies.

Job Responsibilities

• Competitive Analysis : Conduct daily competitive analysis to monitor and evaluate the activities, strategies, and performance of key competitors.
• Data Gathering and Analysis : Gather and analyze data from various sources, including industry reports, market research, news articles, and financial statements.
• Reporting and Presentation : Develop comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and insights to the senior management team.
• Market Opportunities and Threats : Identify and assess potential opportunities and threats in the market.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to inform and support strategic decision-making.
• Industry Trends and Technologies : Track industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that could impact the business.
• Competitive Intelligence Database : Maintain a competitive intelligence database to ensure up-to-date and accurate information.
• Actionable Recommendations : Provide actionable recommendations to enhance MyBambu's competitive position.

Skills & Abilities :

• Exceptional Writing Skills : Ability to create high-quality documents that persuasively present activities and relationships, such as policies and procedures, communication materials, and technical reports.
• Analytical Thinking : Capability to undertake dynamic analysis, comparing legal requirements, standards, and methodologies, to identify significant trends and areas to improve creativity and judgment in guiding company activities effectively.
• Decision-Making Skills : Strong critical thinking and the ability to support effective distribution and utilization of financial and human capital resources.
• Organizational Skills : Proficient in managing multiple tasks and priorities, handling deadlines with efficiency and accuracy.
• Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in digital forensics and related software tools.

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably within the fintech industry.
• Strong knowledge of competitive analysis frameworks and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights.
• Proficiency in using analytical tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Physical Requirements :

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
