About theRole :
Were seeking a dynamicTechnical Advisor or Patent Agent with a Ph.D. in the biologicalsciences to join esteemed patent prosecution team in Boston.
Inthis role youll play a crucial part in patentrelated activitiesfocusing on prosecution freedomtooperate analysis and duediligence.
Youll collaborate with clients on cuttingedgebiotechnology innovations to secure patent protection and developrobust IP portfolios.
YourMission :
- Managepatent portfolios and coordinate prosecution globally with foreignassociates.
- Draft responses to office actionsand prosecute patent applications.
- Collaboratewith scientists and inventors to draft patentapplications.
- Conduct thorough assessments ofscientific literature patents and patent applications in variousbiology fields.
- Perform patent landscape andfreedomtooperate searches and contribute toanalysis.
- Assist in IP diligence for potentialinvestments and biotech IPOs.
What You Bring :
- Ph.D. degree in Immunology Molecular BiologyBiochemistry or related fields.
- Preferablyexperience in patent prosecution.
- Ability todraft patent applications independently from invention disclosureforms or inventor interviews.
- Strongcommunication skills to convey scientific concepts to bothscientists and nonscientists.
- Excellentorganizational skills with meticulous attention todetail.
- Ability to collaborate effectivelywithin a team environment.
