The role of theAdministrative Director of the Emergency Services Departmentassures service growth development personnel management andresource allocation and management controls in order to ensureconsistent highquality patient care in the Emergency ServicesDepartment Free Standing Emergency Department Emergency Managementand / or other departments asassigned.
Whatyou will do in thisrole :
- Youwill accurately identify real / potential problems affecting theservice and implement solutions with follow through andcommunication
- Youwill actively participate in service departmental and hospital widecommittees as assigned providing ongoing communication to those onerepresents
- Youwill advance the patient experience agenda in the EmergencyDepartment

- Youwill monitor compliance with regulatory accrediting and hospitalpolicy for patient services and environmental and personnelsafety
- Youwill oversee a PI program that consistently monitors and evaluatescritical aspects ofcare
- Youwill be responsible for department s operational excellence;ensures department delivers quality services in accordance withapplicable policies procedures and professionalstandards
- Youwill follow the Hospital Exposure Control Plans / Blood borne andAirbornePathogens
- Youwill seek new program strategies and / or program enhancements whichwould expand patientservices
- Youwill develop prioritize and defend all capital equipmentrequests
- Youwill be responsible for the fiscal management of department;assures proper utilization of organization s financialresources
- Youwill perform other duties asassigned

- Mastersdegree in Nursing Healthcare Administration or BusinessAdministrationrequired
- 3years of experience in emergency servicesrequired
