Senior Director of Drug Development

A company is looking for a Senior Director, Drug Product Development (Remote / Home Based).

Key Responsibilities

Directs the Small Molecule Drug Product Development team and manages budgetary responsibilities

Leads strategy, planning, execution, and reporting of development projects

Acts as Technical Operations Lead for cross-functional CMC Development teams and ensures smooth technology transfer to contract sites

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

PhD in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Science, Science, Engineering, or equivalent

15 or more years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry

Broad experience in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing, including early and late-stage development

Knowledge of current regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical products

Experience in authoring drug product sections of regulatory submissions such as NDA, MAA, IND, and IMPD
