Job Description : We are looking for a dedicated Reservation Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in customer service and has in-depth experience with the OpenTable reservation system.
The Reservation Coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of the reservation process during office hours, ensuring an efficient and seamless experience for our guests.
Responsibilities :
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly to handle reservations, changes, and cancellations.
- Expertly navigate and manage reservations using OpenTable, maximizing seating capacity and dining room flow.
- Provide guests with information about the restaurant, menu, and any current promotions or events.
- Confirm upcoming reservations and manage waitlists during peak hours.
- Coordinate with the hostess team and management to update on reservation statuses and special requests.
- Maintain a detailed log of all reservation activities and guest preferences to enhance personalized service.
- Train other staff members on the use of OpenTable and best practices in reservation management.
- Assist in generating reports and analyzing reservation patterns to forecast volume and make necessary adjustments.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in a reservation handling role, preferably in a busy restaurant environment.
- Extensive knowledge of OpenTable and its functionalities.
- Excellent phone etiquette and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
- High school diploma required; further education in hospitality or related field is a plus.
