Job Description

As a Security Officer - Access Control Patrol in Warren, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will help maintain a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service. You will interact with employees and visitors, manage access points, and communicate clearly to support a positive atmosphere. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or hazards observed during patrols or while monitoring access.
  • Assist with visitor management by verifying credentials and issuing visitor passes according to site procedures.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
