The IT Administrator at Gold's Gym is responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations of infrastructure systems, troubleshooting, updating, upgrading, securing, and monitoring.
This role plays a crucial part in migrating on-premises services to the cloud, maintaining network security, managing MS Azure resources, and implementing Office 365 best practices.
Additionally, the IT Administrator provides support for field implementations across a high-volume group of gym locations.

Essential Functions :
- Analyze user needs and recommend technical solutions, ensuring completion within specified timelines.
- Support strategic plans to maintain organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with senior IT leadership to ensure successful implementation, upgrades, and repairs of IT infrastructure.
- Conduct system audits to verify application results and maintain data integrity.
- Implement disaster recovery, backup procedures, and information security protocols to preserve assets.
- Recommend IT strategies, policies, and procedures based on organizational outcomes and requirements.
- Administer Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Azure, and related systems.
- Develop and maintain secure virtual environments in MS Azure and Office 365.
- Utilize scripting languages and automation tools for efficient operations.
- Stay updated on current technologies and evaluate trends for implementation.
- Administer anti-virus systems and enforce security policies.
- Participate in hardware and software evaluations, providing recommendations to senior IT leadership.
- Maintain quality service standards and enforce organization policies.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing, maintaining detailed documentation for system configurations and procedures.
- Implement and enforce network, Wi-Fi, and application security policies.
- Provide day-to-day operational support through helpdesk ticket triage.
Qualifications :
- Strong understanding of technology with the ability to diagnose and solve complex hardware, software, and network issues.
- Expertise with Microsoft SQL, Windows Server Operating Systems, MS Office 365, Exchange Online, Azure, and Linux.
- Familiarity with the five pillars of a well-architected framework and professional services environment.
- Experience with Dell servers, smart network switches, VMware, IP addressing, TCP / IP networking, and enterprise firewall management.
- Ability to work with system architecture components and collaborate with diverse personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; current MCP / AWS / Office 365 / Azure certificates preferred.
