Job Title : DOT Compliance Specialist Department : Safety Reports to : Director of Safety
Purpose :
Ensure compliance with all applicable DOT laws & regulations. Promote a safety-first culture to protect the overall interest of our company and employees.
Principal Accountabilities :
- Monitor compliance with all applicable DOT laws and regulations.
- Encourage a safety-first culture
- Provide remedial training to our driver team members including but not limited to driving skills evaluation, hours of service, and all other safety policies
- Monitor risk associated behaviors
- Reduce CSA Basic Scores
- Audit driver qualification files and documents
- Monitor Hours of Service
- Communicate with Director of Safety & other members of management regarding specific action plans as it relates to safety and compliance
