Registered Nurse Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN)
StartDate : 11 / 18 / 2024 Available Shifts : 12 N Pay Rate : $2502.67 - $2758.04
The PCU is a 31 bed unit for the care of adult and pediatric patients requiring cardiac monitoring and frequent observations.
The PCU Provides specialized intermediate level care. The care is rendered by skilled progressive care nurses and other personnel under the supervision of these nurses.
Patients admitted to this unit include (but are not limited to) those acute and chronic cardiac conditions including acute coronary syndrome, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, and those that have undergone percutaneous cardiac interventions.
PCU also cares for the majority of stroke patients. The PCU also cares for other medical and surgical patients with neurological, respiratory, gastrointestinal, orthopedic and renal disorders requiring specialized monitoring as well as those experiencing the toxic effects of drugs and alcohol.
Types and ages of patients served : Adults through geriatrics age groups may be cared for in the PCU. Children sixteen years old or greater than 40kg may also be cared for.
Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse, PCU
Experience : 2 years
Licenses : RN(Compact Accepted)
Certifications : BLS-AHA; ACLS-AHA; CERT-NIH Stroke Scale
Work History : Should not be more than 90 days of gap in entire work history
References : 1 Reference in entire work history

Travel Experience
Sheath Pulling experience
Titration of vasoactive drips
