Specific Responsibilities :
Design relevant products using CAD (2D and 3D) systems; create production drawings for both in-house and external fabrication;
oversee the mechanical aspects of projects from inception to completion.
- Manage customer relations by obtaining necessary information through on-site measurements; demonstrate expertise in product-related discussions with clients.
- Conduct technical calculations to ensure the safety and integrity of custom mechanical components; prepare technical documentation, procedures, and perform product inspections and dimensional checks.
- Provide leadership and guidance to support the development of engineering staff; collaborate with manufacturing teams on the design of jigs and fixtures.
- Support revenue goals by assisting the application team, product managers, and project managers.
- Develop communication materials to effectively convey key design aspects to clients or manufacturing partners.
- Create, manage, and maintain release packages and design history files; engage in development projects and prototype design.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by company leadership.
Minimum Skill Set Required :
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of practical experience.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD systems.
- Competency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
