We are looking for a Manager, Operations, to join our operations team reporting to the senior director of Operations. In this hybrid role based in Tacoma, WA, you will oversee all aspects of the Americas Operations Team and quote to cash process.
You will conduct thorough reviews of the quoting process, validation, time to quote and KPIs, following revenue recognition rules, and adherence to all policies and established practices throughout these activities.
You will partner with Sales, Leadership, Channel Partners and Sales Operations to execute the strategy and ensure the efficient and effective processing of bookings in support of the sales teams.

What you’ll do :
- Develop and lead the Americas operations team with a high-performance culture that aligns with that of our company.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including sales leadership, finance, and product teams, to ensure alignment on quoting strategies and objectives.
- Act as an escalation point for the team members on policy exceptions, informed by a deep understanding of pricing models and competitive positioning.
- Develop and optimize the end-to-end CPQ process to ensure efficiency and accuracy in quote generation.
- Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to track key performance indicators related to quote generation and validation.
- Implement rigorous quality assurance measures to validate the accuracy of customer quotes, ensuring adherence to pricing and discounting policies.
- Become a subject matter expert in product SKU structures, booking requirements and processes to deliver scalability and efficiency in quote-to-cash process.
- Evaluate and mitigate legal, financial, and operational quote risks, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement within the CPQ team and implement enhancements to increase overall effectiveness.
- Support the professional development of team members through coaching, performance reviews, training and skill-enhancement opportunities.
What you’ll bring :
- Minimum 12 years of experience, including 7 years in a sales operations or operations role.
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading an operations team.
- Salesforce.com Sales Cloud / CPQ experience required.
- Track record leading by example and managing goals while delivering exceptional customer support.
- Ability to evaluate, build, create, and re-invent sales processes.
- Ability to execute in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Calm, supportive, and partnering attitude.
- Proven customer service-oriented, results-driven leader.
- Experience in advanced Excel, Salesforce, and Google sheets.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, think creatively and pivot to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, MBA preferred.
What success looks like :
In the first six months, you will...
- Define the strategy and expand the team to address critical quoting and booking issues.
- Evaluate key aspects of what works and doesn’t and use feedback to continuously improve the process to expedite quote quality and bookings.
- Understand the business and processes to support the purchase order clearinghouse activities.
- Build strong collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders, including sales operations, OM, sales and partner teams.
After the first year, you will...
- Establish best-in-class framework for quote-cash governance processes in support of sales effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Execute a consistent quarterly business review process and quarterly reporting to demonstrate improvements in bookings SLA.
- Independently manage cross-functional projects and requirements.

Please keep in mind that the range mentioned is the base salary range for the role. The typical base salary range for this position in Washington is $120,700 - $170,400, plus corporate bonus potential.
