Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and dependable MSE Wall Foreman / Lead Person to oversee the installation of Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) retaining walls on heavy civil and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building MSE walls, a strong understanding of site grading and layout, and the leadership skills to manage crews, subcontractors, and schedules to ensure quality and safety on every project.

Responsibilities :

Supervise and lead crew members in the layout, construction, and installation of MSE wall systems

Coordinate daily tasks, assign duties, and ensure that work is progressing according to plans and specifications

Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project documents

Manage materials, tools, and equipment on-site

Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency

Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and engineers

Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures

Perform quality control checks and ensure adherence to design tolerances

Provide hands-on support with excavation, wall panel / segment installation, backfilling, and compaction as needed

Train and mentor crew members on MSE wall techniques and safety practices

Requirements :

3+ years of experience building MSE walls (e.g., panel systems)

1+ years in a supervisory or leadership role

Strong knowledge of construction practices, grading, and wall systems (e.g., Reinforced Earth®, Keystone®, etc.)

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layout plans, and elevations

Experience operating small equipment such as skid steers, excavators, and compaction tools

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
