Plant Operations Manager
The Plant Operations Manager is responsible for the physical operation of company or customer facilities, plants, and / or properties. Work is to be performed with the utmost concern for safety and in compliance with environmental permits and regulations. Essential Responsibilities :
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested. Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required : Bachelor's degree or demonstrated equivalent and minimum of 12 (twelve) years extensive experience in Operations, Maintenance or Technical leadership position. Extensive experience in the management of industrial processing plants or power plants. Good oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Position will require the ability to obtain and maintain a TS / SCI clearance with polygraph. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Position may require travel.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands : Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 50 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech / hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning / organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Position may require travel.
