Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience; preference for 2 years in an inpatient hospital setting medical-surgical, stepdown, critical care, or inpatient rehabilitation nursing
License : Registered Nurse License
Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS)
Must-Have :
- Willingness to learn specialty patient mobilization skills
- Willingness to complete rehabilitation-specific documentation
- Good attention to detail and willingness to be coached
Job Description :
- Care for patients in a neurological, cardiac, and / or orthopedic adult population
- Provide nursing care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Experience in long-term acute care (LTACH) nursing is advantageous
- Perform procedures such as urinary catheterization, peripheral IV insertions, blood administration, and wound dressing changes
- Handle surgical drain removal, suture / staple removal, and other medical-surgical nursing procedures as advised
- Maintain compliance with facility-issued PPE, including N95 masks and face shields
- Adhere to the dress code, which includes wearing royal blue scrubs in good condition
- Apply policies on tattoos, piercings, and nail hygiene as per guidelines
- Fulfill floating requirements to other medical-surgical units as needed
- Embrace the role of patient advocate by ensuring high-quality care and excellent patient experiences
