Job Summary
This Mental Health Therapist is responsible for providing direct clinical behavioral health and / or substance use services to children, adolescent, adult and / or geriatric patients and families.
Services include group therapy, family therapy, individual therapy, psychoeducation, discharge planning and coordinating with community, government and / or other behavioral health agencies for aftercare services.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a behavioral health or human services related field
- Licensure and Certifications Current certification as a Clinical Social Worker (CSW), Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA), Marriage & Family Therapist Associate (MFTA), Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor Associate (LCADCA), Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA)
- Ability to complete Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training and successful completion during new hire orientation
- BLS required from American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications : Two years of clinical experience in a behavioral health or human service setting
