What You’ll Need :
- English Proficiency : Must be able to read and write in English.
- Certified & Ready : Completion of a NJ state-certified CHHA course with an active CHHA certification.
- Reliable Transportation : You’ll need a dependable way to get to your client visits.
- Experience Preferred : 1 year of experience as a CHHA in a healthcare setting is a plus.
Your Role :
As a CHHA, you’ll be an essential part of our clients' daily lives. Your tasks will be guided by the care plan (POC) created by our nurses.
Responsibilities include :
- Assisting with personal care and daily activities.
- Maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with mobility.
- Helping with treatments under nurse supervision.
- Encouraging independence and mental alertness.
- Providing emotional and psychological support.
- Reporting changes in the client's status to the nurse.
What You Bring :
- Communication Skills : Must be able to hear and effectively communicate in English.
- Physical Ability : Ability to stoop, bend, lift, turn, and transfer clients up to 200 pounds.
- Travel Ready : Must be able to travel to clients’ homes.
- Attention to Detail : Ability to document visits and follow the care plan meticulously.
