You won’t simply be serving a meal you can feel good knowing that your talents are making an impact on the quality of life of the people you serve .

To be strong fit for the role of Cook, you must be at least 18 years old and have :

  • A minimum of one year of experience working as a line cook
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and training
  • Strong understanding of food handling and safety
  • Knowledge of equipment hazards present in kitchens (i.e. wet floors, hot temperatures of equipment and water, and sharp objects) and a commitment to safety
  • Shift flexibility to occasionally work overtime and cover vacations, absences and special events, and a willingness to work weekends and holidays
  • First Aid Certification or the ability to obtain certification
  • The ability to pass a Drug Test and Criminal Records Clearance
