The products and offerings include loans to High New Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients of the firm. The Portfolio Risk Manager role is part of the teams 1st line of defense.

manage a portfolio of loans to HNW and UHNW clients consisting of various collateral types including but not limited to Marketable Securities, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, LP interests, and Unsecured prepare high quality credit presentations within defined periodic review due dates that accurately summarize the loan purpose, terms and conditions, sources of repayment, risks, credit strengths and weaknesses apply financial principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to analyze information and loan collateral in accordance with policies, procedures, and industry practice keep current on major developments and changes in market and client financial condition to identify and escalate potential negative trends that could lead to the deterioration of credit quality and internal ratings continuously monitor and manage the ongoing performance of an assigned portfolio for adherence to financial reporting requirements, covenant compliance, and collateral condition.

Make timely recommendations to loan classifications and internal risk ratings and develop remediation plans in conjunction with Senior Managers as required transition loans from Underwriting to Portfolio Management timely with adherence to strict quality control parameters to ensure systems, trackers, and loan files accurately reflect approved terms and conditions, legal documentation, and file completeness maintain and update borrowers loan data in internal systems and trackers participate in the development and ongoing updates to process and procedure documents The Global Wealth Management Banking Americas group offers products and services to UBS Financial advisors and clients to help them meet their financial needs and goals.
