The platform was founded by former festival founders, Lisa and Ben Simpson in 2017, after the husband and wife team endured challenges and frustrations first-hand while setting up and growing their own experience business including Rise, Europe's biggest Snowsports and music festival, and Beyond Adventures, a series of adventure travel experiences in remote locations such as the Sahara desert and the Swedish archipelago.

About the Role :

As the VP of Music, you will have full ownership of this vertical within Easol, from acquiring new customers, to contributing to having the best in class product for this market.

You will be a pivotal member of our leadership team, driving the commercial strategy across Easol and overseeing growth opportunities in our current core markets UK, US, and Europe.

Your primary focus will be on maximising revenue streams, identifying new market opportunities, and positioning our brand as a leader in the industry.

You will be on cultivating relationships within the music vertical and developing innovative strategies to drive revenue and market expansion.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial growth strategy for Easol, with a focus on the music events, festivals, club nights parties and more.
  • Lead a high-performing team to achieve revenue targets and drive customer acquisition within the target markets.
  • Identify and capitalise on growth opportunities within the music industry, including creator meetups, awards, mentorship programs, and strategic partnerships.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to help drive marketing, brand, and PR activities to enhance Easol's visibility and reputation within the vertical.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings and drive product-driven growth initiatives tailored to the music vertical.
  • Drive customer engagement and retention through innovative marketing campaigns, strategic partnerships, and customer loyalty programs.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including creators, event organisers, industry associations, and strategic partners.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Skills & Requirements :

  • Proven track record of success in leadership roles within the music events industry, with a strong network of industry contacts and relationships.
  • Deep understanding of event management technology and its applications within the industry.
  • Strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth company is preferred.

$180 - $250 a year

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed above.

The wide salary range for this role takes into account a range of factors, which we consider in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, market experience, licensure and certifications, and other business needs, and are open in showing some flexibility depending on skillset.

Additionally, you might be eligible to our perks such as equity, commission and annual incentive bonus, subject to the applicable rules and restrictions.

Location : We will accept applications from candidates located NYC or LA
