Essential Job Functions :

• Install or repair any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, lighting ballasts, LED drivers, pole lights or other transmission equipment.
• Work from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications.
• Locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment
• Work standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment.
• Use a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.
• Perform preventive maintenance services on numerous facilities post-wide!
• Exposure to heat / cold, noise, dusts mist and / or fumes and requires the ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Wearing personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, fall protection harness, protective-toe footwear, gloves, hard hat, and hearing protection.
• Work hazards include electrical shock, confined spaces, noise hazards.
• Always ensure safe shop operation, including maintaining required safety paperwork and using appropriate PPE.
• Keep the Lead informed of work-related problems. Maintain logs and other records of actions taken.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
