Eligibility Requirements
- Must commit to working as a Nursing Assistant at Salem Hospital for a minimum of 1 year following the training
- Knowledge of English language sufficient to read, speak and write accurately
- Knowledge of simple arithmetic
- Ability to lift and transport patients using appropriate physical technique in a safe manner for the patient and self, according to the Safe Patient Handling Guidelines
- Basic computer skills required
- Excellent interpersonal skills a must
