As our client's Controller, you will oversee financial operations for a company in the SF Bay Area who is a leader in their industry.
Top Requirements of the Controller
- Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager
- Experience in corrections and CAM reconciliations
- Proficiency in financial budgeting and reviewing financial reports
- Strong leadership skills
- Flexibility to adapt to accounting procedures and openness to improvements
- Preferred hybrid or in-person work setup
What You'll Do as a Controller
- Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and asset management
- Provide targeted acquisition, development, and management services for multi-tenant properties
- Enhance property value through development, redevelopment, repositioning, and cosmetic enhancements
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve investment objectives
- Safeguard investor capital while delivering healthy returns
What You'll Bring to the Controller Role
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- 7-10 years of experience in commercial real estate finance and asset management
- Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting
- Proficiency in Yardi Voyager software
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Prior experience in real estate investment, brokerage, or management
