Job Overview
As an Intern in the Medical Business Unit, you will support product and process development engineering activities of new medical device products.
Expected results are the completion of projects as assigned, which can include process development and / or characterization or other engineering projects directly contributing to the business needs with a focus on problem solving, cost reduction and product deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Provide support in testing of product designs, fixture design, medical device building, and processing medical devices through process equipment.
- Learn about medical device technologies, tour manufacturing lines, and interact with cross-functional teams.
- Develop reports of test data with summaries of conclusions based on the data.
- Utilize problem-solving abilities to resolve complex technical process and product designs.
You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you :
- Have received a High School Diploma or GED.
- Are currently enrolled in a program or pursuing a BA / BS Degree in Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering, with perhaps a concentration in medical device product and process design, from an accredited college or university, or have equivalent work history.
In certain circumstances, students who are taking a gap year will be considered.)
- Have previous internship or large project experience (preferred).
- Are authorized to work in the U.S.

- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience : $19.24 $40.84 / HOUR (subject to change dependent on physical location)

What TE Connectivity Internship Program offers
TE has a robust internship program that provides our interns with an abundance of resources to feel included as part of our Team.
Every summer we coordinate various educational and networking events for our interns. The TE University Relations team will be hosting virtual meetups, information sessions, tours, skill-building presentations, and National Intern Day celebration activities.
Our internship program typically runs May thru August and gives students the opportunity to work on projects that contribute to the success of their team and build on their classroom experience.

TE Connectivity recruits on campus between September and March for New Grad (FT), Rotational, Internship and Co-op positions beginning in May.
