Clinical Assistant Professor of Health and Human Sciences
The Frank R. Seaver College of Science and Engineering invites applicants for a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Health and Human Sciences, with expertise in kinesiology and / or exercise science.
This position will begin in Fall 2025. This 3-year position runs on a 9-month contract beginning August 15, 2025, with the possibility of an extension.

In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will advise and mentor undergraduate students majoring or minoring in Health and Human Sciences and will coordinate our mandatory student internship course, which includes professional development instruction.
There will also be opportunities to collaborate on interdisciplinary initiatives that promote social justice, health equity, and community engagement.

Required qualifications : An ideal candidate will have :
1. a master’s degree is required in a field related to kinesiology, health, and / or rehabilitative science; or a terminal professional degree (Ph.
- D., Ed.D., DPT or equivalent);
- 2. ability to incorporate innovative pedagogies or technologies in their teaching;
3. demonstrated multicultural competency and experience interacting effectively with diverse groups of people;*
4.a professional and approachable demeanor, with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and mentoring.*

Preferred Qualifications :
1. Experience or interest in teaching and scholarship that attempts, where feasible, to promote community-based (CBL) or service learning which guides students in the integration of science and social justice is ideal.
