Work you'll do
As an OTT Insurance Transformation Specialist Master, you will bring considerable technical expertise to deliver effective solutions to clients.
You will interface between the clients and our Deloitte teams as an SME for specific technologies or solutions. You will serve as an SME between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients' business needs.
Specialist Masters will support the effort to define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design and prototype, test, train, define support procedures and implementation.
You will develop and review system requirements, design the solution, redefine the business, present the prototype, and lead the testing of our custom technology solutions.
Other responsibilities may include :
- You will bring considerable technical expertise to deliver effective solutions to clients.
- Maintain hands-on technical and subject matter expertise in certain technologies or solutions advising clients and team members on these technologies / solutions.
- Manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large Insurance Carriers / companies.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 7 years consulting or relevant Insurance experience within Property & Casualty - Personal Lines, Commercial lines, Specialty Insurance
- 6 years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance Solutions with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, Origami or similar package
- 6 years of experience working in one of the following sub service areas : Insurance Products, Underwriting, Claims, Billing & Payments, Policy Administration or Distribution
- Minimum 4 full life cycle implementations of Large-Scale System Delivery Experience preferably for Policy Administration, Billing Systems and / or Claims Systems
- 6 years of hands on ETL experience with Informatica and / or Microsoft SSIS
- 6 years experience with Data Mapping experience
- 6 years experience with SQL
- 3 years experience estimating and planning Large Scale System Implementations
- 4 years of experience managing at least one large Business Integration effort and project team through all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, and testing
- Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries / sectors you serve

Preferred
- Advanced degree in area of technical specialization
- CPCU, AIC, ARM Certification
- Guidewire Integration or Configuration certification
- 4 years experience with Guidewire Cloud Claims migration
- Experience delivering via an Agile / Scrum methodology
- A strong Java, Gosu (Guidewire), EJB, BPEL, UNIX background
- Experience with Business Process Modeling (BPM) tools, Business rules integration
- Experience with technologies like BEA, Sonic, IBM, Oracle, Apache ServiceMix, FuseESB, Camel, Mule etc.
- Strong knowledge and comprehension of standards, specifications, standards bodies (e.g., XML, UDDI, JMS, Web services, etc.)
- Experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
