The effective Operations Quality Engineer will support the High-Volume Sensors value streams of Circuit Card manufacturing (CCM) in Andover, MA.

This is a 2nd shift onsite position.

What You Will Do

• Lead continuous improvement projects with an emphasis on reducing cost of poor quality (CoPQ) and increasing factory first pass yield (FPY).
• Facilitate and lead cross-functional teams in failure analysis, Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, including identifying non-conformances, providing solutions, tracking issues to closure and leading Corrective Action Boards (CAB).
• Analyze factory data and regularly generate, publish, and present quality metrics.
• Participate in Defect Prevention Team (DPT) meetings with the cross functional teams to trend data, prioritize investigations, and status actions to improve production quality.
• Conduct AS9102 First Article Inspections.
• Ensure identification, physical control, and disposition of non-conforming material and facilitate Material Review Board (MRB) when necessary.
• Support work instruction development and maintenance activities by reviewing work instructions, test instructions, auditing processes, and assuring configuration management.
• Daily status meetings with the factory support, factory management, hourly employees, and internal stakeholders to manage production quality.

Qualification You Must Have

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in STEM.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Working experience interpreting and understand technical drawings.
• Working experience in driving cost reduction or quality yield improvement projects.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.

S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Basic knowledge of Statistical Process Controls and Capability analysis.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and / or AS9100 Quality Management System.
• Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection Requirements.
• Six Sigma, CORE, Shainin RedX Problem Solving, or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification.
• Data analysis; development and usage of actionable metrics.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work on a team.

Clearance Information : Clearance Information : This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS) , an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.

LI-ONSITE

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
