Percent time : Appointments are typically part-time

Anticipated start : Applications will be accepted and reviewed for department needs through September 30, 2025. Applicants are considered for positions as needs arise;

the existence of this pool does not guarantee that a position is available. Applications are typically reviewed for fall course needs in April / May, spring course needs in October / November, and summer session course needs in January / February.

Position duration : Varied and may be renewable based on need, funding, and performance.

Position description

The Energy and Resources Group (ERG) at the University of California, Berkeley invites applications for a pool of qualified temporary lecturers to teach courses in the areas of energy and resources from a wide variety of disciplines, should an opening arise.

ERG has a long and distinguished history of interdisciplinary research and teaching for a sustainable environment and an equitable society.

ERG is interested in candidates who will contribute to diversity and equal opportunity in higher education through their teaching.

General Duties : In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.

g., syllabus), and maintaining a course website.
