Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Client Service Manager to lead our water infrastructure projects in Knoxville TN. This role involves managing projects collaborating with clients and stakeholders and ensuring the timely and costeffective delivery of services.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design and construction administration of water and wastewater utility infrastructure and hold relevant certifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership :
  • Lead the planning design and construction administration of utility infrastructure projects.
  • Example : Oversee the design and implementation of a new wastewater treatment plant.
  • Client Collaboration :
  • Collaborate with local officials service providers and state administrators to deliver efficient water resources solutions.
  • Example : Work with city officials to develop sustainable stormwater management systems.
  • Resource Management :
  • Manage project resources schedules and budgets to ensure timely and costeffective delivery.
  • Example : Allocate resources and manage the budget for a largescale water distribution project.
  • Client Relationships :
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and proactive communication.
  • Example : Regularly update clients on project progress and address any concerns promptly.
  • Reporting :
  • Prepare and present reports business correspondence and project proposals to clients and stakeholders.
  • Example : Create detailed project reports and proposals for a new water supply system.
  • Team Development :
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment mentoring junior staff and promoting continuous learning.
  • Example : Mentor junior engineers and conduct regular training sessions.

Requirements

  • Education :
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensing :
  • Tennessee Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
  • Experience :
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in the design and construction administration of water and wastewater utility infrastructure projects.
  • Skills :
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in civil engineering software and tools.
  • Strong problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent team collaboration and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience : Minimum of 10 years in water utility and wastewater utility infrastructure project design and construction administration.
