We are seeking an Sr. Project Manager - OSP Construction Fiber Construction experience for a Direct-Hire role in the Harrisburg, PA area (Central Pennsylvania or South central, PA)
As the Sr. Project Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the deployment of fiber primarily in Central Pennsylvania or South-central PA area.
You’ll be responsible for coordinating with contractors, public utilities, equipment vendors, and internal department. You’ll be the single point of contact for all construction activity in the region.
The ideal candidate will have 5 + years of Fiber / OSP Construction experience.
Role :
- Project Manage Fiber construction projects by leading different internal teams and vendors.
- Develop construction project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Ensure construction vendors are adhering to schedule.
- Manage relationships with municipalities, utilities, etc.
- Implement commercial and carrier fiber networks, infrastructure, backbone, and lateral builds.
- Oversees procurement of equipment and materials related to the assigned projects.
- Execute Bid Process, inclusive of budgetary requirements and the tracking.
- Verify and update project documentation.
- Track and update project progress, budget requests, purchase orders, project close out and internal service orders.
- Must be able to manage multiple RFP and design construction schedules and responses.
- Must be able to understand and read construction documents.
- Familiar with all facets of OSP management, including quoting, construction, and delivery.
- Ensure construction safety standards.
