What you'll be doing
- Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments / trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
- Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and / or departmental / enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal / external stakeholders on more complex assignments / projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Consults / Analyze on more complex assignments and / or projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Prepares, analyzes, and reports on more complex financial information for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Provides management with a more complex financial perspective for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Evaluates financial information to develop and deliver more complex standard, and ad-hoc financial analysis.
- Provides support to the financial analysis team in the preparation and delivery the analysis of financial information including more complex financial analysis for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Identifies financial analysis issues / concerns and recommends mitigation solution(s) to management.
- Collecting, compiling, and evaluating financial information to develop and deliver standard and ad-hoc financial analysis.
- Communicating to management on recognized trends of issues / concerns.
- Evaluates financial information to develop and deliver complex, standard, and ad-hoc financial analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to adapt the communication of complex items to suit different audiences.
- Performing and delivering on routine assignments / projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of your assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Performing other duties as required.
What we’re looking for
- 4 Year / Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
- 3 - 5+ Years experience in financial analysis that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
- Confident and comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed, and logical.
- Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients ( management, peers, and colleagues); proven ability to develop collaborative approaches.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel / Microsoft PowerPoint
- Tableau / PowerBI experience
- Prior experience in insurance / financial services preferred but not required.

The pay range for this position is $67,000 - $120,700 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law.
Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role.
The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.
Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
