Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
Multiple schools in the Glendale, AZarea are seeking passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapists (OTs) for year-round positions.
The OT's responsibilities include evaluating and diagnosing occupational therapy needs, creating customized treatment plans, and providing education and training to families and caregivers.
The director is prepared to promptly review applications and conduct interviews.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnoses of occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each patients unique needs.
- Provide direct therapy to students in individual or group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient conditions, treatment plans, therapy sessions, and progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student support.
- Supervise and provide guidance to occupational therapy assistants as needed.
Experience :
- Previous experience in an occupational therapy setting.
- Experience working in a school setting as an OT is preferred.
Education :
- Must have a masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Full accreditation (OTR) is preferred.
- Must be in at least the Clinical Fellowship Year.
