Have8 years sourcing experience with considerable understanding ofprocurement concepts principles and at least 5 years of commodityor category management and Global Strategic Sourcing experience.
APICS or CAPM certification a plus.
5 yearsMRP experience preferably with SAP
Have deepunderstanding of raw metal alloys subtractive manufacturingcastings forgings stampings etc
Have experience anddeveloping & executing commodity strategy and categoryleadership role (e.g. responsible for multiple businesses within acompany spend over $50M).
Have deep understanding ofone or more of the following key commodities : metals plasticselectronics motors pumps or power transmission.
Demonstrate strategic decision making skills regarding businessplanning processes make / buy decisions and similar business relatedconcerns.
Have experience working and developinginternational suppliers.
Demonstrate strongcollaboration and communication skills across all organizationallevels both internally and within supplier organizations.
Exhibit a high degree of autonomy with the ability towork effectively in a team environment to pull disparate piecestogether across the organization and get things done.
Have the ability to partner with department leaders to identifycreate and plan capabilities necessary to meet short and longtermbusiness needs.
Demonstrate a continuous improvementethos; ability to identify areas of opportunity and positivelyinfluence business decisions.
Have proven abilityleading negotiations and supplier contract management.
