Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Support early intervention with autism, developmental disabilities, and behavioral challenges.
- Conducts Diagnostic Assessments and / or developmental evaluations according to agency and state requirements and submits timely and accurate diagnostic reports.
- Provides diagnoses according to current criteria listed in the most up-to-date version of the DSM.
- Provides family counseling and connects family to community resources as appropriate.
- LCSWs may provide training on the philosophy and principles of family systems, and other topics related to diagnostic assessment and intervention
- Provides input for progress reports and IFSP reviews.
- Provides supervision as necessary for LMSWs and LMSW candidates
- In partnership with families, develops multidisciplinary strategies for a child’s IFSP to address routine activities.
- Provide in-home supports
- Work as a team member
