Position Overview : Responsible for planning, scheduling, employee oversite, and management of industrial and electrical construction projects up to $10M in value. Assists Project Manager in coordinating activities of employees engaged in construction process, utilizing knowledge of equipment, techniques, procedures and specifications.
Job Duties :
- Oversee field specific activities for industrial construction projects from setup to closeout related to the industries that Industrial Construction serves : energy, power, mining, manufacturing, pharma, etc.
- Responsible for recruiting, managing and leading teams of craft employees for all scopes of work : civil, mechanical, and structural activities.
- Supervises daily work of employees.
- Verifies conformance of finished work product.
- Responsible for ensuring all safety and environmental requirements are met.
Skills / Qualifications :
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction and electrical industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.Completion of OSHA or equivalent safety training.Experience with HCSS Heavy Job or similar job costing program.Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.Drivers license with a clean driving record.
