Job Title : Piano / Keyboard Accompanist

Location : Northside Church Holland, Michigan

Hours : 1-14 per week

Schedule : Sundays at 4 : 00pm service, plus rehearsal and preparation time

Position Summary

Northside Church in Holland, Michigan is seeking a qualified Part-Time Piano / Keyboard

Accompanist to support the music ministry of the church. The accompanist will work closely

with the Lead Pastor and other musicians to accompany congregational singing. This role

requires a weekly commitment of 1215 hours, including service, rehearsal, and individual

preparation.

Songs andstyle will be from artists / albums such as CityAlight, Together for the Gospel, SING!, Shane and Shane, Matt Boswell and Matt Papa, the Getty's, Sovereign Grace, etc.

Responsibilities

Provide piano / keyboard accompaniment during Sunday worship services and scheduled

rehearsals

Collaborate with the Lead Pastor in preparing and arranging music for services

Demonstrate the ability to play from chord charts, lead sheets, and written music

Adapt to a variety of musical styles, including traditional hymns and contemporary

worship that have lyrics that teach sound theological truths and point us to God and the

gospel.

Participate in occasional special services (holidays, church events, etc.) as scheduled

Dedicate appropriate personal practice and preparation time

Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Northside Church

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in piano / keyboard performance

Prior experience in church music or congregational accompaniment preferred

Ability to follow musical direction and collaborate with a team

Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a weekly service schedule

Demonstrated Christian faith and alignment with Northside Churchs Statement of Faith,
