About The Position

ID : 50809650 Shift : 8H Days Mon Thurs 9-5 : 30 and Fri 8-4 : 30. Description : Unit Notes : ALL PAPER WORK DUE THURSDAY at NOON BEFORE START DATE # of patients treated per day : 6-10 per day- General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.

BLS- Other Required certs for all SLP Do they prefer or require CCC-SLP & / or CCC-A credential : State licensure CCC-SLP required- Common diagnosis / Types of patients : Inpatient, outpatient, home care, peds (70% peds population)- Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient : Inpatient, outpatient, home care, peds (70% peds population)- What areas are they required to cover : Inpatient, outpatient, home care, peds (70% peds population)- Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties : Need to have a diverse clinical background.

Need to be able to work in more than one area (inpatient / outpatient / home care / peds, etc) but does not have to be able to work all areas.

MUST have peds experience.- EMR : Cerner Community Works for inpatient & outpatient charting, Kinnser for home health care charting- SLP Manager / Supervisor : Lori Jarrett - director of rehab services- Rehab Aides : SLA's : No- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling Block scheduling) : Prefer 4 - 10Hr shifts.

Or 8Hr shifts / 5 days per week (9a-530p or 10a-630p)- Weekend Requirements : No weekends- Holiday Requirements : No holidays- Scrub Color / Dress Code : Black, navy, or royal blue scrubs or business casual- Department specific orientation : 1st day - going over procedures / education, etc & observing;

2nd day - orienting, may get assigned to 1 or 2 treatments / evaluations; days 3-5 - assigned treatments / evaluations with extra time for documentation.

Second week will be a full schedule.- Additional Notes : Will consider someone who has only peds (infant-18 years) SLP experience, d / t high peds volume.

Currently have a long waiting list & could fill travelers with only pediatric patients if can find someone who can / will take peds.
