Description :

The facility is a 154-bed hospital serving both Northeast Texas and Southeast Oklahoma.

It is recognized for being the most complex hospital within a 70-mile radius.

The hospital is a Level 3 Trauma center and has a Level 1 NICU.

It is Joint Commission accredited and a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI.

The hospital also provides advanced primary stroke care services.

It has ranked in the top 5% for orthopedic outcomes nationally.

The position requires working with all patient populations (no neonates).

Common cases involve post-anesthesia care for various surgical specialties.

The nurse will be part of a team in a ratio of 2 patients to 1 nurse.

Candidates should exhibit a friendly demeanor, remain calm under pressure, and be easy-going and kind.

Navy blue scrubs are required and will be provided if needed.

ICU experience is preferred but not mandatory.
