Duties / Responsibilities :
- Installs new HVAC units in commercial, or industrial buildings.
- Performs routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate properly.
- Inspects and troubleshoots problems with existing HVAC units.
- Installs replacement parts on existing HVAC units.
- Maintains inventory of replacement parts and orders replacements.
- Complies with company and industry safety standards.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Respond to emergency service calls
- On-call rotation
- Strong electrical troubleshooting background is a necessity
Required Skills / Abilities :
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
- Piping installations.
- VRF systems and equipment experience.
- Ability to read operation and repair manuals for HVAC systems.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent mechanical skills.
- Time management.
- Excellent communication skills, as required to interact with customer.
- Valid Driver's License.
- EPA Universal.
- OSHA 10 or 30.
- NFPA 51b Hot Works certification.
- Journeyman Refrigeration License, with 7-10 years of experience.
