What you'll do
- You are responsible for accounting for and analyzing the Company’s inventory management transactions.
- You build effective partnerships with the Operations leaders in order to help identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiencies.
- You are responsible for daily and monthly inventory monitoring including movements between subsidiaries, managing large volumes of data, conduct ad-hoc analysis and partnering closely with our warehouse and supply chain teams to help identify and drive efficiencies.
- You are responsible for monitoring and updating the reserve for inventory monthly.
- You build dashboards around key inventory, COGS, and other operational metrics, and drive process improvements in the Operations processes, analysis & reporting capabilities.
- You assist with identifying transaction flows for key business operating processes and proposing solutions for utilizing our systems more effectively and driving automation.
- You assist with month-end variance analysis and financial statement schedules.
- You will be responsible for additional month-end close responsibilities as assigned. Other balance sheet reconciliations as assigned.
You should have
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university, or equivalent related experience.
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and computerized ledger systems..
- You have the ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and effectively track details in a fast-paced environment.
- You have strong planning and follow up skills.
- You have the ability to collaborate with others and thrive in a team environment while meeting individual goals and expectations.
- You can anticipate obstacles, communicate effectively, and plan accordingly.
- You' re adept at providing solutions and working in cross functional areas to facilitate successful completion of projects.
