Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Joplin, MO. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and will help launch new electronic product lines with OE and aftermarket automotive customers.
They will also be responsible for the turbocharger test stand and functional testers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare technical drawings and specifications for electrical systems to ensure installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to develop and implement electronic actuators repair processes and validate new test stands.
- Co-develop and implement turbo actuator remanufacturing processes.
- Design, implement, maintain, or improve electrical instruments, equipment, components, products, or systems for commercial and industrial purposes.
- Compile data and write reports on existing or potential electrical engineering studies or projects.
- Prepare specifications for the purchase of materials or equipment.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Must be able to Relocate to Joplin, MO.
- 3-5 years of work experience as an Electrical Engineer.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Expert knowledge in using tools for computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) to control machinery and machine tools in the creation, modification, analysis, or optimization as part of the manufacturing processes.
- Experience in testing protocols that enable a variety of analyses of electronic systems, products, and components.
- Robust knowledge in electrical engineering and design principles.
- Strong experience in electronic circuit board design and proficiency in LabView.
- Experience with CAN data collection and processing.
- Ability to understand and interpret design drawings detailing the design of products, tools, and engineering systems.
