Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer include : -Work under the guidance of a senior engineer to provide technical design and construction documents for commercial building power, lighting, and special systems-Close coordination and collaboration with different design members within the company as well as architects, owners, and facilities staff outside the company-Perform power and lighting load calculations using applicable computer software-Perform selective coordination, short circuit, and arc fault calculations -Work closely with equipment vendors and manufacturers' representatives for selection and specification of appropriate equipment-Create highly coordinated construction documents using 3D Revit MEP-Construction administration responsibilities including submittal reviews, construction inspections and field troubleshooting-Other duties as assignedQualifications of the Electrical Engineer : -Bachelor's degree in a related field-2-5 years' experience in electrical design-Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience in Revit MEP a plus-PE license a plus-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills-Capable of working independently as well as part of a team-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-Highly organized and self-motivated individual-Detail oriented and deadline driven Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $110,000 to $130,000.
