BCT Cast Products LLC, a division of Blast Cleaning Technologies, Inc., is looking for an experienced Investment Casting Wax Technician to join our team here in West Allis, WI in Wisconsin's newest High-Tech, state-of-the-art foundry.

Operating both No-Bake and Investment Casting lines in our completely refurbished and updated facility, we are looking for an experienced Investment Casting Wax Technician to support our growing business.

General Description

Under the direction of the VP Cast Products, Investment Casting Wax Technicians will be instrumental in the manufacturing of world class products to meet the demands of our BCT customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

• Ability to work independently and run the wax department.
• Setup wax injection tooling, establish injection parameters, and communicate with engineering to define best practices.
• Perform sprue and pattern wax changeovers as needed.
• Review weekly schedules and level load presses for daily and weekly workloads.
• Help develop standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Perform mold assembly of wax patterns and sprues.
• Prepare and batch molds for shelling operation.
• Must keep the work area safe, clean and organized at all times.
• Perform daily & weekly cell and equipment preventative maintenance.
• Some exposure to ERP data entry and production, quality, and calibration documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Thorough understanding of investment casting / lost wax process.

Education and / or Experience

• 3+ years' experience in investment casting wax injection and assembly.
