The Agency Multifamily Asset Management Senior Director will manage a team of associates responsible for surveillance, risk monitoring, customer service and other oversight functions on a portfolio of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily loans.
The position will include fostering partnerships with Agency representatives, engaging and developing staff, managing operational and credit risk, and developing relationships with internal partner groups.
Additional areas of responsibility include procedures, governance, technology, and training related to the functional areas covered.
This role will report to and work closely with the Head of Agency Asset Management.
Responsibilities :
Manage a team of asset managers and analysts with dotted line reporting of others as it relates to the risk monitoring functions.
Oversight of select portfolio-level functions.
Subject matter expert on Agency Multifamily Asset Management.
Update processes and procedures to reflect changes in Agency requirements and market conditions.
Building solid partnerships with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Asset Management teams.
Building solid partnership with internal Bank partners from credit, risk, servicing, underwriting, technology and others.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 10 years of experience in commercial real estate
At least 10 years of asset management experience with managing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily loans
At least 10 years of experience managing a team
Preferred Qualifications :
At least 15 years of experience in commercial real estate
At least 15 years of asset management experience with managing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily loans
