Construction Estimator

SitelogIQ is a rapidly growing energy and facility services company. We provide planning, design, and management solutions for organizations who want efficient and sustainable building environments that are healthier and safer for their occupants.

Our Construction Estimators work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers during the development process to produce project rough order of magnitude budgets and follow the designers, engineers, project managers, and superintendents during the construction phase to answer questions and develop project costs.

Construction Estimator Responsibilities :

• Work cross functionally with development and design teams to develop project scope of work.
• Perform quantity takeoffs of civil, structural, and architectural components.
• Determine labor, equipment & material requirements.
• Utilize estimating standard tools i.e. OST to generate project costs.
• Solicit pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
• Develop a detailed total project cost estimate.
• Identify and develop costs associated with additional scope.
• Assist in the preparation of the Bid / RFQ / RFP packages.
• Assist in pre-job meetings with the project team.

Construction Estimator Qualifications :

• 5-7 years of construction experience estimating projects.
• General proficiency in computers, smartphones, and tablets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, and Zoom.
• Proficient in Blue Beam, OST, and Insite.
• Expertise in reading and interpreting plans and blueprints.
• Capable of estimating projects ranging from $500,000 to $50,000,000.
• Experience with all phases of construction projects, including ground-up, renovations, additions, repairs, tenant improvements, etc.
• Strong organizational skills.
