Related Management has a great opportunity for a qualified District Manager with experience in Workforce Housing and Rent Stabilization to oversee a growing multi-site portfolio located throughout the boroughs of New York City.
The ideal candidate must be a dynamic professional with experience in asset preservation, project management, budget performance, and regulatory compliance.
The District Manager interfaces with ownership and senior leadership to direct the performance of the assigned assets. He / she is responsible for practicing, disseminating, and reinforcing to front-line staff the Related Management philosophy of respect-based property and personnel management to achieve objectives.
The District Manager’s tasks include, but are not limited to the following :
- Leading takeover efforts of newly acquired properties, which include tenant file reviews, talent assessment, and systems set up.
- Developing and managing operating budgets and exercising cost controls.
- Conducting monthly financial reporting and analysis.
- Reviewing all site accounts payables and receivables.
- Supervising day-to-day building maintenance operations.
- Managing vacant unit turnover process and collaborating with leasing department, brokers, and various operations teams to ensure timely move-ins.
- Assuring compliance with company policies and all HUD, Fair Housing, and Equal Employment Opportunity regulations.
- Fostering excellent resident relations.
- Conducting routine site inspections.
- Hiring and developing talent.

COMPENSATION
- $115,000 - $125,000 / yearly
- with an annual bonus that is tied to performance.
Qualifications
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- You have at least 7-10 years of property management experience with knowledge of rent stabilization preferred.
- Experience with multi-site project management, including unit renovations and capital projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and organizational skills.
- Understanding of operating statements and financial budgets required.
- Experience with Yardi and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to answer emergency calls as required, including evening hours, weekends, and on holidays.
- Ability to travel between sites and work from site-office(s).
