Position : Quality Control / Quality Assurance Manager
Location : Tustin, CA

Position Summary :

You'll ensure the accuracy of our data, adherence to rigorous quality protocols, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities :
Quality Control :
- Oversee the laboratory’s performance testing program.
- Maintain high standards of quality assurance using precise control limits.
- Evaluate and interpret results to meet project requirements.
- Determine the need for supplementary samples or retesting.
Audits :
- Conduct and facilitate audits to ensure compliance with standards.
- Document actions and recommend changes based on audit results.
Policies and Procedures :
- Implement updates to regulatory and industry standards.
- Develop and refine lab operation policies and procedures with the OPEX Quality team.
Staff Instruction :
- Mentor and assist lab staff in testing protocols and technical processes.
- Identify and address testing and data irregularities.
- Manage corrective actions and staff training.
Client Support :
- Resolve client complaints and provide exceptional customer service.
- Work with clients and administrative staff to meet regulatory needs.
- Communicate laboratory processes and impacts effectively.
Analytical Testing :
- Oversee monthly tests and ensure proper equipment maintenance.
- Manage data collection and report on testing progress.
- Assist in developing and validating test methods.
Data Validation :
- Review and validate data for compliance and quality.
- Assemble comprehensive data validation packages.
Quality Metrics :
Establish and maintain regular quality metrics reporting.
Accreditation Maintenance :
Collaborate to uphold accreditation programs, including quality assurance plans and SOPs.
Process Monitoring :
Monitor and document procedural controls.
Issue Investigation :
- Investigate non-conformance issues and customer complaints.
- Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Regulation Adherence :
Ensure deadlines and regulatory standards are met.
Safety Promotion :
Promote safe work practices in collaboration with the ATG Safety team.
Additional Duties :
Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications :
- BS / BA degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related science.
- 7+ years of environmental laboratory experience, QA experience preferred.
- Knowledge of data validation guidelines.
- Proficiency with LIM applications and basic computer skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and quality management.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated leader.
Pay Range : $67,000 to $85,000, depending on experience
